Ok, there's only one reason guys don't like a girl and girls don't like a guy--CONFIDENCE! the interpreter is like a fly on the wall and guys will learn to adapt to that. the interpreter is simply an ends to a means. it's like a cell phone or a computer. for communication purposes. so forget the hard of hearing and the accent. it's not the interpreter. just go out there with your living cell phone and show the world who you are--God's own special creation and communicate with CONFIDENCE and the guys will flock to you! It will have to go through you own little communication tower you have to feed (your interpreter) but it gets the job done. think of your interpreter as your unltracool talking accessory who really helps you out in a pinch who is REALLY good company! and if you find a special somone you can always teach them sign language or your native tongue if you are not a native English speaker (which it souns like you DO speak English) you can always go with texting, IMming and emailing when you find that special someone since that is in your capabilities and the I-man can have a night off. Work within your limitations sweetie.

And remember, God gave you a gift. He made you the way you are for a reason even if you don't understand it yet. And you may nto like it but you're stuck with it so you have to make the best of it and work around it but you may not be as limited as you think but you have been gven an oppertunity to learn how to do something other people don't--you can LEARN how to work around stuff at a much younger age! most people go all their lives going the STRAIGHT path but YOU get to go AROUND that path and work AROUND that path. it's a frustrating exciting journey and very challenging but if you are up to it it can be very rewarding because you can come up wth ideas no one else will be able to because you will have been forced to yor entire life! aand if you start riding that train NOW, you'll be in the habit of thinking that way and people will respect you for that later in life. start generating alternatives. You have the gift. use it! God Bless! Don't forget to focus on your studies as well!

it might be the hearing

i have bad hearing, i do not need an interpreter, but i have to ask people to repeat themselves a lot. I had 3 gf's since 6th grade, but never a major relationship. Accents cannot be bad as long as people still understand you

It may put them of approaching you and getting to know you so that they find out whether they like you in that way or not.
If thats the case then they are shallow, you need someone who can be himself with you despite your hearing, so if it bothers them then they arent for you sweetie.
Your time will come.

I can't really see it having an impact on whether they are interested in you, but it might make them feel more awkward about approaching you, or they might be trying and you may not be noticing.
