The old intaller trick is to screw out the rubber stops out a little. It makes the trunk close a little tighter but usually stops all vibration.

This may sound stupid but put ear plugs in and crawl in your trunk. Take a flashlight in with you. Turn the subs up to the point where the trunk rattles. Make sure you completely shut yourself inside the trunk. Use the flashlight to determine where the rattling is really comming from. From there you can decide what materials will fix it. Pull on your trunk release cord ofcourse, to get out. This idea worked for me, I hope it works for you.

Be careful when making your trunk rattle-free that you don't make it airtight as well. Subs move a lot of air, and have been known to deform the trunk lid if there's nowhere for the air to go.

Turn the volume down to where only you can hear it and that will not be a problem. Also, other people may not appreciate your taste in music..
