No, Pagans don't try to convert me, that is why i feel that Christians are evil, and since Pagans let me be to do my own thing, they are good people to me.

They believe in propaganda that was started by the Roman Catholic Church, and later spread even further by the Protestant Churches, that anyone who does not believe like they do are heretics AND Pagans. What most people don't realize is that the word Heretic itself means one who is NOT a Roman Catholic. So, all these other Christians are considered Heretics in the Exact same sense I am... since I'm Pagan. So, it appears it's a lot easier to believe in the "evil" of people who do not believe like them, than it is to try to find the Truth of their religion and try to find the "good" within it.
And sorry, the Egyptian worship of the Gods listed here did not come AFTER Christianity... Egypt was a thriving society long before Moses was even born. According to some historians it is the last remaining "state" of Sumer, the first civilization and most of it's religion(s) came from there.

Most people don't. However, there's a common dynamic in our human psyche that WANTS this to be the case (unconscious, of course). We want to feel special by being in a special group that is victimized, etc. Christians do it all the time (just stay on these forums for a week or so). Pagans, Wiccans, jews -- almost everyone does it. We do it with ANY group we're in -- e.g. when we support going to a way, we adopt the thought that other nations/groups are the victimizers and we're the moral innocents whose reactions/responses are justified.

Yeah, I'm going to get a couple thumbs down for this but it's because back quite a few centuries ago The Church was having a hard time getting Pagans to convert so they tried a few tactics. One was to make Christian holidays fall very very close to Pagan holidays, eg Christmas. Another tactic was to call anyone that wasn't Christian a devil worshiper. This meant Pagans were labeled witches and were literally painted as ugly, old hags. It was a scare tactic because Paganism was the most practiced religion of the time and a very peaceful religion as well.

Because Jehovah is a thief. Jehovah took two people, stuck em in garden, gave them amnesia to see if they'd pass his controlled experiements. They failed, so he let them out. He let them out into the world created by all the other gods and said, "This is mine. See that mountain? Mine. See that sun? Mine. See that ocean? Mine." So, Christians go out into the world trying to convince everyone that this world and all its creations are really Jehovah's because once they convince every last one of us, Jehovah wins. Recognize the deception.

Because they make assumptions without knowing facts, most people who say this don't even know what Pagans believe/worship etc.
The early Christians all but wiped out Pagans because they were a threat to their power and most adverse propaganda stems from this.

I believe all people are afraid to judge based on deeds. If they did, Pagans would be elevated to a very high standing based on their actions. But hey. Ignorance is bliss, right?

It is not that they think pagans are evil, just that they do not believe in ONE God. The concept of believing in just One God is a much elevated concept, and those that believe otherwise, believe in gods, or goddess for everything that they see. It explains life a bit more in an earthly way, brings the gods and goddess down to earth and is a much simlier way of accepting that which those who believe can understand in a material conception.
It is not enough to just believe...........one must have faith.
Believing in One God as even the Egyptians final came to realize, demands a great deal more in way of accepting ones own responsibility for his/her spiritual progression.

Because they are closed minded, uneducated and ignorant. They would not dare try to understand the concept of paganism.
Blessed be!

Christanity stole all its best stuff from paganism. Read the story of Isis and Osiris and you'll see the story of Christ there. Read Gilgamesh and you'll see the story of Noah there.
Christians calling pagans evil is tantamount to dishonoring your parents.
