Yes. It is OK. But the illegal immigration should be persecuted as criminal.

Billy you still don't get it do you???
Let's see, two people go into a bank. One has an account, the other has a gun. One makes a withdrawal from his checking account while the other robs the bank.
Both had business there, the difference is one's business was legal while the other's business was illegal. I don't know how to make it any clearer.
My next door neighbor is a legal immigrant. He waited 10 years to come to the U.S. and worked another 7 years to get his citizenship. By your reasoning he was a fool and should be kicked in the crotch for being stupid enough to obey the law. Just as I should be locked up for making a legal withdrawal from my bank account when I own a gun and could just as easily have robbed it.

Good question. There is no point to keep all those High managers, scientists, and high skilled professionals brought from other countries.
By another side (Dark side):
Why give jobs to immigrants when regular american is able to get a au pair, baby sitter or even just work cleaning without wny kind of job rights.
Put regular people to do hard and dificult jobs without take in consideration their rights and just due profit/more competitive product prices is not something really important within the economy.

I have to agree with Londonlee near the top. As an englishman we look to america and see a whole country of recent immigrants. Unlike the uk, the USA really has to tiptoe around the term 'immigrants'. Unless you are cherokee or navajo indian. Then you can be as anti immigration as you want.
And please dont tell give me any thumbs down. I know it sucks people, but its' a fact.

Well most people in America are immigrants apart from the Native indians. Most people, including white americans from europe who entered america did so illegally because they didn't obtain permission from the Native indians.

Yes, if they did not just sneak in here to the USA. If they are legal then they can stay. But ones who are not and do not speak the English Language should be gone. Or made to learn how to speak or language, not us having to learn what they are saying. It amazes me, how or children in the middle schools are only allowed one language, when I went to middle school u could pick from a couple of different ones. NOT NOW, STRICTLY SPANISH IS THE LANGUAGE. What is this teaching our children in school. They are suppose to have freedom of choice. And they don't.

I am all for legal immigration. Legal immigrants make our country the wonderfully diverse place that it is. However, ILLEGAL immigrants cause a lot of harm to our economy and infrastructure. Illegal immigrants should leave, and come back the legal way.
By the way...
People who were born here are NOT immigrants. Being descended from immigrants does NOT make you an immigrant yourself, especially when your family has been here for several generations.

I believe only the ethnic indians should make this decision. History books will tell you that the white
settlers and immigrants took over the United States
by force from the ethnic indians and now you want
to decide whether immigrants should stay in u.s.a.
I suggest that you think it over.

Legal immigrants are usually productive members of our society! The FBI scans all people applying to move here permanently! I think the legal ones are fine!

Legal ones should, on the grounds that the US Government has seen fit to grant us residency. Every effort should be made to remove illegal immigrants from this country and keep them out.

Everyone in the USA except the Native Americans is an immigrant.
Check 'em all out and give the land back to its rightful owners.
Go go Geronimo!
Just had an awful thought..........some of them might want to come here. OK - I take it all back.
