Depends. On "first meeting"...I'm a bit of a "que sera, sera" type. I'm NOT pushy. I think that kind of initial "pushiness" pushes more people away from...rather than toward the truth.
After I am asked in all earnestness...or if I am challenged....I have NO problem being the boy who cried "The emperor is nekkid!"
And I do. Often.

It depends on what the religious truth is. There's a lot of wise teachings in many of the worlds religions.
But there is also a lot of bull crap that was put there by guys who wanted to manipulate the texts for their own worldly gain.

depends upon the situation along with what Religious Truths we are discussing. everyone has their own personal opinions and discussion will lead to wisdom and knowledge while arguments lead nowhere

Not being religious myself, I tend to avoid that as a topic. I do try to be respectful of others' beliefs and also ensure that they respect my beliefs as an agnostic.
