the whole concept that mentally/emotionally tortured people are eternally tortured for seeking an escape from their agony is cruel beyond ridiculous. Hell must be a geriatric ward since most suicides are the sick and isolated elderly.

Dear Delirium T.,
The only reason a person goes to hell is because his/her sins have not been paid for. The penalty for sin is eternal damnation. Therefore, after a person has been under the fierce wrath of God Almighty for eternity, he/she can go to heaven. However, let me point out that eternity NEVER ends, so a person whogoes to hell will be there forever.
Jesus Christ is God Almighty. Because He is eternal, omnipotnet, omnipresent, and omniscient He can undergo the fierce wrath of God and come out on the other side. "For with God nothing shal be impossible." Therefore, if one is to escape hell (eternal damnation), then Christ had to be the "stand-in" or "substitute" for you. He had to take the punishment for your sins. However, Christ did not pay for every persons sins because then no person would go to hell. But the Bible tells us that hell will be heavily populated. Suicide is murder--murdering one's self. That is a sin just like stealing.

Considering the various religion/paradise/hell etc... you can choose from, I am sure you can get a ticket to the paradise of your choice no matter what. (Mother Theresa and Lady Di are both in Paradise but most probably not in the same one for example)

catolics are wrong. Jesus Christ died for ALL our sins not just some of them. is suicide a sin? yes it is murder of oneself. since it is a sin Jesus died for it. If you truly belive in Him you will have everlasting life. so No commiting suicide does not condemn you to hell *IF* you are a saved person.
do remeber though that you will have to give account for it in heaven when God asks Why?

Yes, then you go to the land of gay Care Bears who don't wear any clothes, who poke with sticks. Life sucks doesn't it. Commit suicide now and you'll get off free.
