The question should not be did the chicken come first or the egg the more important question is how the chicken went into the egg in the first place

actually the answer differs depending on how you believe the world was created, if you believe all animals were created by a higher being, the chicken came first as it was made from nothing, if you believe animals evolved from one another than the egg came first since the first chicken egg was produced by two animals that weren't technically chickens.

Well......I believe the chicken came first...God created all the animals...then told them to go have more (well...not exactly in those words...)so then the chicken laid the egg. The rest is just a long history of omlettes and barbeque.

no one is absolutely sure who came first ....not even scientists knows about it ...my answer is that the egg came first because chicken must not have born without the eggs.
