Yes, they have been persecuted since time began, of course they will be no peace until The Lord arrives.

Your question is complicated and there is no single answer. Israel expropriates land from her neighbours and develops it into settlements. This is an illegal action according to the U.N.
These settlements are then built up and turned into "Neighbourhoods" as they must be referred to or the Israeli Government will not allow one to report from there. This is not something any of us should condone. That would be the equivalent of say the State of Main sending in the National Guard to forcefully remove you from your land and then give it to someone else. Would you stand for that? Peace in Israel will only be achieved when the Muslim Imans stop preaching hate in schools and teaching fallacies about the Israeli people. Your question is extremely complicated and a thesis would have to be written to address it. There are micro issues that form the larger picture and all of the issues from both sides must be addressed and a reasonable compromise could then be achieved. All of us want peace, good things for our families and to live without threat. Israel and Lebanon are the only democracies in the Middle East and as such, they both deserve our support. What you are witnessing right now with the involvement of Iran and Syria in the greater Geo political complexities of this region is in essence, the new cold war. If we as a world population stand by and let our Governments continue unabated with their policy, the future will only hold more discontent, suffering and death in this region.

we must all ask, when is enough enough?

shalom=peace. and yes is the short answer. the long answer is also peace and yes. now to whys -- a nation is in the making, a nation was in the making for the past 2000 yrs. and more -- what else is needed to live and let live. a piece of land where a population of some 6 million proves to the world -- that technological advancement is possible where none existed before the 20th century. Compare the economies of the surrounding regions to those in Israel. Arabs and Jews lived in harmony "more or less" for centuries -- in Spain, in north Africa -- history is full of golden ages of both these ancestral populations. in conclusion if there is no hope in man's mind there is no future for anyone of us, so from the diaspora both Jews and non-Jews have to strive to make peace a reality. the age of "fighting with one's fist, continued by war and its many diversions will hopefully end -- this is the age --of tolerance and harmony -- human rights, liberty, equality -- that middle east region has a lot of catch up to do...we wish them good luck.

I believe in peace to all people of Earth. Israel is included in that.

Yes. Why not?
Arabs have been fighting against Israel for over 50 years and zero progress has been made. Maybe they should try to negotiate rather than use terrorism. Terrorism is such a stupid policy, I'm sure it will change nothing.

Yes, I believe Peace for everyone and everywhere. I figure our lives are way to short to be fighting, angry, sad, hungry, tired, anything else that is negative. Just try to help, and to appriciate being helped. All of the bad leaders that put evil thoughts and ideas in peoples heads will be judged when they passaway.

No I do not think there will ever be peace between the Arabs and the Israelites, they have to much hatred for one another, Killing is a way of life for those people they have been doing it for thousands of years, and will continue to do so until one of them no longer exists, and I do not see that happening to soon.

Hmmm, peace to only Israel?

They're my chosen people, but you may recall that I was cheering for the Sumarian in that parable.

Peace to ALL in the middle east!

Does Israel believe in peace to Lebanon? They certainly bombed the hell out of them this summer.
