And what if it does? You know, it isn't so much the Mexicans streaming across the border (although that has to stop as well), it's that people from many other countries, including many people from the Middle East are using the Mexican border as an entry into this country. You don't think that Al-Qaida doesn't know that our borders (north and south) are as porous at the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense? You don't think that a chunk of those illegals coming here have terrorists ties? You don't think this is a security problem of the first degree? And you're more worried about maybe having to pay an extra ten or twenty bucks to put, oh I don't know, running boards on your SUV, or fog lamps on your Super Mud Machine? That's what's wrong with the people in this country--we are so unwilling to do the things we need to do to help secure our country, because it might make a dent in the lifestyle that we've come to feel we are entitled to, just because we are Americans. Yeah, it might increase the cost of car parts, but it's not going to cripple the market, and you know why? Because after the parts manufacturers get done whining about increasing labor costs, they will realize that there is still money to be made in that area, and they will make sure they get their slice of theirs. That's thing #2 that gripes me about this country---decision makers in business and industry would sell their own mothers if would mean a 1% increase in profits. Totally ignore the problems caused by illegal immigrants, because it is more convenient to hire them and pay them third-world wages. Even though I tend to rant, I am not some wild-eyed right wing nut, but we have to recognize where these threats are coming from, and the steps we need to take to make ourselves safe---even if those steps cramp our style a bit.

OK, as in the past it has been stated before, in most cases the money saved from the use of illegal immigrants does not effect the price of the end product. What money that is saved is pockets by the employer.
I highly dought deporting illegal immigration would cripple the market. The manufactures might make claim that it will, but keep in mind were they using illegal immigrants 20 years ago ? how was the market able to flourish then ?
I honestly believe what is in Americas best interest is to shut down NAFTA, and bring illegal immigration to a halt. If we don't take the steps now the middle class will vanish.

No.
America should STOP illegal aliens from coming into America and START the MASS DEPORTATION of illegal aliens already in the country.
This would be good for Americas Economy and Americas People!
AMERICA COULD START MENDING AMERICA!
$90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.
http://premium.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0610/29/ldt.01.html
The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period."
