the wall, so to speak....and you are not ALLOWED to tell certain things about someone...i feel it is OK to lie because otherwise you would betray someone's trust...NOW I AGREE IT IS NOT A COMMANDMENT IF YOU want to get religious..what is your take on lying ???...because if you told the truth it could get someone in trouble!!! or maybe yourself...I actually hate it when people ask direct quesions...it FORCES YOU TO LIE..WHAT COULD YOU SAY TO NOT LIE THEN????

You could say I'd rather not talk about So and So without them being present...and lying is a sin.....thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Go ahead and lie. Lying is supposed to be a moral no-no, but you have to consider the consequences of the truth. Different situations cause for different approaches, and lying is not always bad.

That goes back to a question someone else asked in this forum.She asked about integrity.

Integrity:Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty.

Accepting the consequences of ones actions shows honesty,and integrity.One accepting their fate whether it be good or bad is admired from a certain point of view.

Now see,no religion what so ever.It's common sense in it's purest form.

I agree, I hate that. Yes, then you might have to lie. Or you can just refuse to answer.

Try saying "I am just not going to talk about that to you." Unless its your parents. Then you have to tell them everything. And kiss your diary goodbye too. Open up your myspace. I said "honor your parents' and nothing about parents being respectful to children. You are shyt out of luck there.
