I saw a commercial for this Australian dog training company. They say they can train your dog in two hours and give a written garantee. But, I'm still skeptical. My sister has a little yorkie, and he's about five months. He's starting to try to assert himself as leader, and she needs to train him.

So, my question is has anyone used the service, and if so, was it effective? How much did it cost? Was the trainer abusive? Basically, I need a review.

Thanks!

There is no way that a dog can be "trained" in two hours. The dog may be performing an - and I do mean ONE - exercise well after two hours, but will need future work to make sure he really knows it. Just like you can't say that a person has really learned a new skill (dancing, computer program) in only two hours.

Your sister should enroll in a training class with the pup. That is the best way for her to become the dog's leader - by teaching him herself how to behave and what his boundaries are.

five months is a baby and you expect him to act properly without training? if she needs to train him then train him; go to the dog whisper; his tactics are more than reasonable, not cruel and work; go to the expert. - the dog whisperer , training is consistency, patience , trust and understanding; anything else is selling your puppy short.
