I want to know how to deal with a boyfriend with add? I have delt with children who has it but, not adults. he is too much for me. I have the most patience in the world. but, sometimes he is too much. he says he dont like medicicine. what to do. I dont want to break up with him. he doesnt hurt me at all in anyway, he just doesnt listen to simple things . and it drives me nuts! I have talked to him about it. he says he will do anything I say as far as help for it. like I said he is a sweet heart! but, too much to handle, I feel like I am his mother and not his girlfriend . he should learn to be a man!

How old is he.....I can tell you it ain't ADD.......he's just a freakin young dude...plain and simple. Why do women suddenly resort to the "Disease" cop out. IF you think you're his mother now.....It's not gonna change much, until there is some consequence to his behavior......So, you gotta let him go. Tell him you want to date a man....not a little boy. If that does not work....then you are better off. If it does.....well, then you are on the road to having a real man.

There is no such thing as ADHD. It's a myth. Labels like ADHD, ADD, ODD, LD etc are in no sense true diseases. There are no reliable diagnostic methods. Psychiatrists cannot even agree among themselves about how to diagnose ADD/ ADHD.

if you know his situation then thats on you youre strong to deal with someone with a disabillity like that if you love htick with it and do some research on what to do what help they have but no need to leave you knew what you were getting into unless you diagnosed him with add

I married a man with add. trust me...it never gets better. I am his mother and I hate it. If I could go back and change it I would.
