Nephilim are falling angels that have sex with women. they were known as men of renown. mighty warriors. in Greek mythology they are called Titans (half man and half God).

i believe these are the aliens that we see. the end times will be like the days of Noah. in the days of Noah there was the Nephilim. so it makes you wonder if in the end times these fallen Angels will come and take control again and turn the earth evil. Nephilim is actually two Greek words. look it up. it means fallen Angel i think.

Check out Wikipedia and it will tell you. There are various translations depending on religion and very long-winded to write on here.

Condensed verision: In Jewish and early Christian writings, nephilim (Hebrew, those causing others to fall) are a people created by the crossbreeding of the sons of God and the "daughters of men". The word nephilim is loosely translated as giants or titans in some translations of the Bible, and is left as nephilim in others.

Hybrid spiritual beings and humans. The origin of people such as Goliath and the Anakim. Also the probable origin of stories such as those of Zeus seducing mortals and the birth of Hercules. This still goes on to this day. People that are extra-ordinarily tall or strong may have Nephilim ancestry.

I rather suspect that like most words that have evolved over time from some original expression and that have cross pollenated with other cultures through discourse and story telling, Nephilim is a mixture of myth and possible fact. It is fact that people grow abnormally high and their unusual appearance would have sparked the imaginations of story tellers who probably elaborated on their unusual physique and from generation to generation over thousands of years their 'history' becomes the celebrated spectacular.
Invention is unique to humans and the invention of words to describe something abstract like 'evil' usually have their roots in observation of behavourial phenomenom, which together with the imaginative use of hyperbole and an invented descriptive narrative, produces words like like Nephilim.
You could spend a lifetime wading through the fascinating theories propounded by 'authoritative' exegesis of early writings such as Egyptian hyroglyphs and pre Christian texts but you would probably be less the wiser and certainly more skeptical about the precise nature of the beings being represented.

If you do a little study on the meaning of 'metaphor' you may find that a lot of our ancient language has sprung from an innate desire to understand brutality and violence by creatively projecting human behaviour into the fanciful realm of the divine in order to somehow rationalise it within some external paternal scheme. The Greek Odysseys are typical of this. Infact I would go as far as saying that most cultural practises right up to the present globalised secularist Western culture rely on the fanciful and sublime idea to often rationalise crass and stupid behaviour.

Nephilim is a metaphor for the internal mental condition of the universal mind in which the strong ego exploits and dominates the weaker ego of others, in which the sub-conscious and conscious create a battleground of conflicting objectives, where contrary options springing from these 'internal forces' set up a bipolar or double minded attitude toward every choice to be made. Aggression over compensates for the often divided self (where the ego has been humiliated for example) expressed physically through sexual and social violence. Rape and War are therefore personified in the spiritual dimension as a means of placating the conscience.
Jesus ruthlessly attacked this kind of personification which he described as 'old wine' 'crumby old ideas from myths and legends'.

In the Bible they were destroyed in the great flood.
Personally I think the nephilm are a very old story going back 20,000 years to when there were two species of human - homo sapiens and homo neanderthalensis, the neanderthals were the nephilim and are now extinct.

These are the products of Angels and Humans. Angels started lusting after fleshly desires and they snuck down and had their way with men and women of the like. The women who birthed their babies gave birth to Giants famed to be 9 ft tall and mean spirited. Rapist, murderers and bullies. The angels were punished for these fleshly actions and the half breed Nephilites.

They are the off spring of the fallen angels who had relations with the good looking women on earth.
Giants who were called bullies, who went around falling men or in other words maiming them....Murdering them, raping them, just for fun. So you can see after seeing this and other bad things going on...God destroyed them and others who were disobedient by a deluge in Noah's day.
Peace.....
