That's an age old question, and a little romantic too, I think we like to believe deep down that there is such a thing as a partner that seeks one person as they have a cosmic connection that extends beyond this life.
If one believes in the soul, then why not believe in soul mates.

I personally believe in soul mates, as I too believe in true love.

Yes, it's possible to find a soul mate. I know 'cause I have. But soul mates need tender treatment, kindness, gentleness, forgiving when they get it wrong, looking after, believing in, romancing, etc. etc.

How do I know - because that's what my soul mate does for me.

Of course there is. I beleive that God has given us all at least one person in our life that we could consider a soulmate. This is a person that loves everything about you good and bad, knows what makes you tick and knows how to make you happy and WANTS to. The perfect soulmates would accent each other, where one is weak, the other is strong. Also is extremely in tune with your feelings and cares enough to show consideration when you need it.

Absolutely. In fact I married mine back in 85. Lost her that same year...the six years we were together were the ONLY years eigther beofre or since that I was complete. She was my missing half, she had the missing parts of my soul. When she died, so did those parts of my soul.

yes, unfortunately. doesn't mean you going to like them though. soul mates are real, real remember! reality is never as sweet as the fictional ideal of soul mates.

That depends largely on your definition of soul and mate.

No, just say there was and yours happened to be on the other side of the world, and you never meet, so what does that mean, you get to spend your life with second best...no, is not just one person for all of us but if we're lucky enough we get to meet the one that stops us looking....

There could be, I know who mine is but we are not together because time and space keeps us apart. One day...
But I always there is sometimes not a right man, only a man at the right time and place. You might meet him/her but they might be married, far away, or there will be cultural differences. This is very sad.
