Kiss under the Mistletoe???and is it a sin????...since of the story The origin of this custom may be related to the story of Baldur coming back to life because of his mother Frigga the goddess of love who removed the mistletoe's poison with her tears. When Baldur came back to life she kissed everyone who passed underneath the mistletoe out of happiness and gratitude and thus started the custom. ????

not only that should Christians participate in any holidays. I'm not a J.W. but I totally don't participate in any holidays, pagan, Christian or whatever. Enjoy the paid holidays from my employer but other than that no. "Holy Days" as set in the Bible were for the purpose of Salvation reasons. The feast of weeks, tabnacle or whatever pointed back to the Santcuary services and ultimately back to the ultimate sacrifice in those services: Jesus Christ.

Forget about the origins of things; they're meaningless. It's like saying that Thursday means the U.S. is endorsing the worshipping of Thor (Thor's Day is its origin). It's what it means to people NOW. People say that christmas was stolen from the pagans by christians; this completely misses the point that all religions -- including christianity -- use a culture/people's existing symbols, beliefs, and rituals to present their teachings. Christianity intentionally used a pagan holiday (because of its familiarity) and changed the symbolism to present their teachings. It's reasonable and logical. And it's what christmas means to people NOW that's important. Same thing with halloween. And same thing with Mistletoe. We may get a sense of sophomoric glee when we allow pedantry to dominate our thinking but the fact is that Mistletoe's meaning is based on what people think it does: that it's a simple, fun practice. That's it.

Yes, some Christians kiss under the mistletoe. And, no, it isn't a sin. Christians are allowed to enjoy the mythology of other times and places.
We can even watch Disney movies, and eat chocolate on Halloween....
It's called "child-like innocence", or some people sarcastically call it "naivete"...and I do believe you must be a Christian to possess it, although I am not sure. Possibly some Wiccans have it.
(But I do know I have not met any atheists who have this quality.)

Sin is the act of doing what you know is wrong and or what is against God. There shoul be more love and less hate & killing. Remember God judges our heart and soul and that is based on our intentions. What are your intentions when kissing someone...there will lie your inner truth.
