I believe what you believe is the best.

Shouldn't allow any one, including boyfriend/husband force you in to a religion.

If your bf was a Scientolgy Religion type, would you embrace that religion too ? Make your own mind up like you appear to be doing. :)

Well just to having faith will not do it, Having faith in Jesus Christ ( believing he is who he said he is and thus willfully following his teachings) is what matters.

Regarding being "Catholic" I would urge you to do some serious inquirey/study into the matter, and not just from the "Roman' Church. The Fact of the matter is that the "catholic church" existed long before the "Roman" Church and there are quite a few differences. I am a "catholic Christian" and I am NOT "Roman". Also we have to keep in mind that Rome has been very successful in the west in so tightly mingling the definitions of Roman Catholic and Catholic that most automaticly think of Rome when the hear the term "catholic".
The Bible tells us that the Church is ONE and that Christ is the head of the Church. While any Roman Catholic would agree with this fact, they go on to "infer" a great deal into their theology in the faith. In fact I have found that most of the "doctrines" that distinguish Roman Catholics from other Christians are doctrines derived from "inference" of Scripture rather than the actuality of Scripture. And it is important to understand that "inference" is not possible without holding a predisposition.

Catholics are truly Blessed. If you become a Catholic, it is a huge gift from God. To help make up your mind read "Rome, Sweet Rome" by Scott Hahn. He converted from an Evangelical ministry. It is a powerful testimony. The Catholic Church is the True Church started by Jesus himself with Peter as the first Pope. You will hear all kinds of lies about the Church and it's doctrines but, do not believe them. Have you heard the term misery loves company? That is those who speak so radically against the Church. Some people just don't understand but, those are still people who are not so demonic in their denouncing it.

If you are happy not being with any religion then that is what you do. I mean you have faith so that is all that counts. It is tough to pick a religion.I'm Catholic but that doesn't mean that everone needs to be Catholic. Catholic is a good religion but that does'nt mean that you have to follow that religion.Do what you think is best for you. Just keep strong faith in God.

I´m catholic and I can tell you that none of the religions are better than the others. Each one has it own blessings and sins. I think everybody need to follow a path, it would be nice if you guys walk together, but first of all is your freedom, and if your spirit really feel the necessity -as I do-, to be in the church.

i have the same view as you. why do we need a priest to tell us what to do. especially ones that molest children. are we suppose to be like them?

show your boyfriend this and even research it for yourself is best.

The doctrine of the Nicolaitans was mentioned in the Apocalypse of John Revelation chapter 2. It is a symbolic name of a group of people that represents the hierarchy of a ruling class over the rest of the people, developing a pecking order of fleshly leadership. Jesus hates this and warns the people to repent. It is not the question of the ministries but rather in the separation of them into a hierarchy over the people. This very idea was taken over by the Protestants with their own corruption of leadership roles and coverings. The Church of Ephesus was commended for hating the deeds of the Nicolaitans. The wrong separation of the clergy from the laity is a great evil in God's sight and He hates the lust for religious power over others. There is an ungodly spiritual authority in the Church today, which is nothing more than the prideful spirit of control, manipulation, domination and intimidation and a rebellion of the rightful authority of God.

It is if you are a faithful Catholic. Paying homage to Zues is also the best if you are a brave and faithful warrior. And the Sun-God of the Mayans is the best if you are about to be sacrificed to the production of next years corn crop.

peace be upon you...
my advice is, when it comes to religion it is not about best or convenient but rather about the truth.
if you are looking for the best or most convenient you are looking for man made religion.
thus, why don't you learn about all religions openly and look from different views.
but if you do it for your bf not for you, you are just wasting your time then...
peace.

I think it is, but I'm Catholic. If you have questions, I'd be glad to answer them. You can do always go to a few masses to see if you like it. (just not on Christmas and Easter. A two hour mass shouldn't be your introduction. :-P)
