Kids that age are really impressionable, so anything you get him is likely to have an impact on his development. If he's into music and drums, perhaps you could get him a CD collection related to famous drummers throughout history, like Buddy Rich and so on.

Buy him books.Encourage his love of reading.It will take him further in life than a PlayStation game.I usually get my boys a few basketballs and footballs so they can go out and play with their friends.
