i wonder who picked the name of different religion's?

like catholic, jewish, muslim, moonies, makes me wonder. People believe in them, why beats me, but one thing for sure, they cant all be right....hey! here is a thought .....maybe they are all wrong....it would sure make the planet safer

well i couldnt tell you where all the names come from except the more general names .. but im sure you know them anyway

but i want to ask you .... why cant they all be right ?
why cant they all hold truths
strip away the doctrine that has been added by man and you are left with what should be the same or very similar beliefs
a belief in a deity ( or many parts of a deity or more than one deity ) whatever way you see it .... they all speak of a higher being...
in each religion they have had their " prophets " .... ok they may all differ slightly from each other ... but again that is perhaps where man made doctrine come in ... but prophets are there non the less

so perhaps they are all correct ... but their wordings are all that is different

Why can't they all be right?

It may just be the inability to allow others to worship as they choose is the problem, not the religious path per se.
