If they were both meant to live, God would provide some means for their sustenance. If they were both meant to die in the desert, I believe they would share in final fellowship together. If one was meant to live and the other die, I think they would pray for wisdom and the one who recognized that the other was meant to live on instead, would sacrifice his life for the other in thanks. Given the tremendous responsibility for being the Messiah for the masses, the other would gladly concede this honor.

For sure Jesus was not trying to make it out alive. He came here to die, He spent forty days in the wilderness fasting and in prayer.
Mohammad was righteous, either would have given there last to the other.

If you know islam, you know that Muhammed met Jesus in heven, and had much respect for him because of the suffering he recieved from the people of israel, and on the night of miraj, Muhammad went to the spot of Jesus's birth and did a little prayer. Ofcourse they would stop and talk. but theywere 600 years apart and it would never happen

Jesus would offer his supplies to Mohammed, knowing that God will provide for Him. Mohammed would act like he always did and steal, kill and take whatever he could get his hands on so he could survive, because he was nothing more than an evil man.
