You are too late this year - they have finished for the winter. Try again 31 August - 4 November 2007 and yes, they are worth visiting.

It's always worth a trip to Blackpool. It's not as popular as it used to be but it is far superior to say London or somewhere like that where all you can see is MP's chasing gay men up the street.
They've finished now but something to look forward to next year.

They finish in early November. The best reason to go to Blackpool is to see the Doctor Who museum - go there and take lots of friends and children with you for a great day out. EXTERMINATE!

I went for the first time this year and enjoyed it. There was alot to do but as I went on a coach trip it was all a bit rushed. I travelled up from Hampshire.
I think I would go again.
