That guy that beat matt hughes was a fairy. He can take the belt anywhere he wants. Know one will pay to see him fight anyway. He needs to get his bucked teeth fixed.

Your a jack ***... GSP is the best fighter in his devision today. He made Hughes look like an amature and will do the same to Sera and who ever else they put in front of him.
Dude take it easy on the racist crap. He was saying to his American fans and his not yet fans that although he is Canadian he will keep the belt in North America meaning he's not gonna pull a BJ Penn and take off to Japan. Ya It also meant he would try to keep it out of a Brazilians hand etc... Again nothing more than a way of getting the American fans, who mostly are pretty racist as you say about other countries competing in their events. So ya GSP winning is probably stiring up abunch of Americans who are saying the belt belongs in the US not in some crapy Canadians hands. Sorry this isn't WWE it's real fighting.
You're right it is the World championship so anyone can fight for it but would you rather an American orCanadian based fighter won it or someone who is going to take it back overseas and only come back when they have to fight. And not promote the sport as activly as guys like Hughes and GSP do...
And as far as GSP being a fairy. Buddy that's like calling George W Bush the greatest president ever...

GSP, a coward? He stepped up, knocked him down, and beat his head. GSP said that Matt Hughes didn't impress him after the Penn fight and with good reason, GSP just might be the best in this weight class and could be a dominent force for a while to come! Matt Hughes was really good at his "style" but GSP was ready able and willing to dethrone him. Cudos to GSP.

i don't really see a question here, so I'll just make my comment. Matt Hughes is my idol. i thought he was unbeatable. i thought his maturity and sportsmanship were super. so i am highly upset that he lost. never once in my mind did i consider that Hughes might lose. i did think that (as Matt said about Serra) if it went to the ground the fight belonged to Matt. if it stayed on their feet gsp had a chance. 2 things...
1. i think after Hughes beat Penn, he too felt he was unbeatable. he underestimated gsp and thought it would be an easy fight. he didn't even fight like he normally does. did it ever go to the ground? maybe he thought he could still beat gsp on his feet.
2. gsp knew this wouldn't be an easy one. he trained his @$$ off. i noticed huge improvement. Hughes was gsp's only loss.
as for the racial thing. i think he was trying to say, in a strange way, that he wanted to be included with America. he made it seem to me like he won the fight as a north American. yes, almost all martial arts came from different countries, but so did a lot of over sports that we play. look at the Olympics. its the world war of sports. look at tennis. you can't tell me that every American wants America to win. frankly if you don't...then get out!

I think you're taking the comment wrong. GSP just didn't want the American fans to feel like he was taking the belt from them. I didn't take the way you did at all.
Plus, Matt Hughes dominated that division for years and GSP destroyed him (unfortunatly). I really don't see where a man that has the skill to beat Matt Hughes could be a fairy. I was pissed too, but it's disrespectful to the greatest UFC fighter ever (Matt Hughes) to say he can be beat by a fairy.

Randy Couture is a hall of recognition mma/ufc fighter, yet his fights tend to be boring. He clutches, places combatants against the cage and works interior. it somewhat is the clarification he's paid so below different ufc combatants (Randy substitute into not their 2d highesty paid fighter) there are a number of different combatants, some not very nearly as solid as Couture, that draw so lots greater human beings into the ppv. it somewhat is right now economics. Randy pronounced that on the grounds that Fedor signed with yet another enterprise, he has no different reason to combat. Fedor may be the only one left nicely worth battling. it somewhat is area of it, the money is the different area. The UFC did make Randy a brilliant call - he has a outfits line and coaching centers that have a great deal benefited from his recognition. Randy isn't detrimental. i don't choose to blame everyone, I in basic terms choose to be sure super fights, so i'm not too unhappy to be sure Randy bypass. Fedor signed for 3 years and 10 million with some vulnerable enterprise the place he won't combat everyone that has adequate expertise to combat interior the UFC. Fedor is somewhat quitting and taking the user-friendly path. he's not attracted to battling the final, he's attracted to protection and an undemanding workload and paycheck. it somewhat is gloomy that we are going to not see Fedor combat everyone solid for no less than 3 years.

NO...GSPs comments were far from Racist...what is wrong with you...seriously...let me guess had hughes won you would have been saying 'hahaha he kicked that canadian's ***'...and just cause he trains with styles from other coutries doesn't mean squat
the reason GSP won and Hughes lost wasn't because it was fixed or anything.....GSP's fighting style evolves with every fight he's in....whereas Hughes has always fought pretty much the same wayy
as for GSP being a fairy and 'not talking our language'....who cares.........he'd school anyone that even bothered to post here myself included and I imagine if the person who made the teeth comment werre to post a picture of themselves they wouldn't be cover model pretty either....its dumb to judge others on stupid little things like that come on people grow up
what are you all 11?

No Way! GSP is a class act. Did you hear him after the fight? He told Hughes not to let the loss get him down and that they will definitely fight again. The guy is a real sportsman.

OK so you want him to say "ill make sure the belt stays on planet earth?" yeah good one. So for the olympics everyone should loose to japanese in taekwondo because it orginated there? Everyone loose to Americans in basketball because thats where it came from? i dont think so. He said nothing about others not deserving the belt, your taking it too far and exaggerating what he said, and therfore lieing to us all. easy.
