i have black hair and cant decide if i should get highlights or not, because of the price - it's$50 and my hair is a bit shorter than shoulder length.
the stylist recommended caramal and ash blonde, but am not sure about the combination.
can anyone recommend some colours? can you have three different shades?

is 50$ much for highlights? the combination is good, but it is some work to do there.......

you can have as many shades as you want but on black hair red and blond highlights are very hot.
also have you tried a peek a boo? this is where they put any colour either underneath the hair or on top. it would wash out in a few weeks and usually only cost's $5 per peek a boo.

i agree with her.
caramal and ash blond will look great on black hair!!
but it you dont want that, try a deep brown and a dark abubran.
