No, it's not in official use anymore, though radio hams
still use it. I think it is worth learning, because
you can use it to communicate when your voice
fails. I once had laryngitis, but could still whistle
Morse code and answer questions!
There is the tale of a surgery patient who
couldn't talk because of tubes in his throat.
But he managed to tap a message to
a ham friend of his, PAIN IS HELL!
which was relayed to the doctors.
The doctors all suggested that the
medical staff should learn to communicate in this way!

I believe that commercial use of morse code has ended. There may be some clubs or groups around that use it on a hobby basis.

Apparently there is no commercial demand for persons skilled in transmitting morse code.
