The most memorable wedding presents are the keepsakes, the ones that are personalized. Maybe something with their names and their wedding date engraved. Things Remembered is a store we have down in Texas. I don't know if it's national or not, but there may be something comparable to it where you are. Check the malls. They have really nice stuff and the prices are very reasonable. Engraving usually only takes 1 day.

What a lovely time of the year to get married.
Does your sister have a wedding gift list?,If she has, take a look and see if there is something on it that she would like.
If not,how about a nice silver or crystal photo frame?,or maybe a photo album, there are some lovely ones. Ask a relative what they think she might like, you don't want to end up getting something that someone else has bought, that's why a gift list is a good idea and most brides to be have them these days.
Have a lovely day and the best of luck to your sister and future brother-in-law.

How about a first Christmas together ornament. You might also think of an Artificial Christmas tree that she can have out for every anniversary.
Always if in doubt check for a gift registry.

if they have a registry, i would use that as a guideline. then, you should add a little something more personalized, since after all she is your sister. i would opt for making a nice personalized wedding album. OR, EVEN BETTER go to things remembered and have a couple of champagne glasses engraved. they have the best ideas there...i just remembered i went there and had a couple of gifts engraved...always a keeper! best of luck and congrats to your sis.

Maybe you could sing We Wish You A Marry Chiristmas??? Buy what you normally would if the wedding was any other day. Do they have a gift registry somewhere?

Where is she registered? Get her something from that list.
Get her a silver picture frame she can use for her wedding photo.
Give her a gift certificate to a romantic restaurant.

Unless you want to give her something personalized (either by you or for them), I would simply get something from her registry. My brother is getting married in march, and I'm making him and his bride a quilt. But only do something like that if you can do it reasonably well.

Surely that depends on the recipient not the day!
Why not simply check on her wedding gift list?
