The mountains rose, the valleys sank down, to the place which you had assigned to them. Psalm 104:8
The waters are still there, during the end of the Flood, the topography of the land changed. There are marine fossils on the peaks of mountains like Everest, indicating they were underwater at one time. In addition, if you were to flatten the Earth out, it would be covered in water to a depth of 1.7 miles.
You assume that the Earth looked the way it does now, but remember, even local floods destroy the topography of the land, we're talking about a global Flood whose purpose was to destroy the Earth. As I said above, the topography of the land changed, from the floodwaters themselves and when God changed it by raising and lowering the mountains and valleys. An earthquake isn't unreasonable, given God's purposes for the Flood, though I won't say that for certain.

First of all, let's just assume that Noah didn't have a satelite to determine any type of 'global' anything. I'm sure the people in Katrina would be forgiven for believing that the world was flooding when the floodwaters covered their house.
Your world is as far as you can percieve. If you're looking for items to criticize on the flood myth, see the link below. It has plenty of options. Basically, as far as I'm concernced, creationism vs evolution comes down to whether or not you feel that something could have guided development, or if pure random chance produces the world.
From advanced genetics labs, it becomes obvious that a 'little help' makes it far easier to get the results you want. Random changes are more likely to lead to pan of dead flies than the new special fly you want for your experiment.
Reading the bible as a science fact sheet is a sign of a damaged frontal lobe. But that doesn't prevent intelligent people from believing that maybe something exists beyond what can immediately be proven, and that things may act to make the world a little better on the whole.

It is still here. Mountains were then not so high but the weight of the water that fell on the earth crust caused it to deformed and formed deep basins and pushed other land areas up higher.
Over 75% of the earth surface is covered in water.
Your science is a little quirky as 99.9% water vapor is not founded to belong in the model of a deluge. Even saying if even at 100% that is only what air can hold as water vapor and that doesn't no way near turn air into liquid or that cannot be breathed normally. % of water vapour doesn't mean volume of water against air but saturation of which air can physically suspend water molecules.
You base your calculation existing after the flood than before so again you have misinterpretted because the billions of tonnes of water weight would of altered the earth's crust topography dramatically beyond former recognition.

A better question would be, where did all that water come from? There is not enough water in the world to flood the Earth up to the highest mountain (Everest, 29000 feet). It says that the windows (!) of the (solid) firmament opened up, but that reflects an erroneous ancient concept of the Universe. Now a good hard rain might be two or three inches in a day, but in order for it to cover Everest in 40 days, it would have to rain over 6 inches ... a MINUTE! See how ridiculous this story is?
Maimonides, the great Jewish authority, in his "Guide for the Perplexed" advised people that the first 11 chapters of Genesis are NOT to be taken as literal history. Good advice!

A water vapor canopy?
Dr Joseph Dillow did much research into the idea of a blanket of water vapor surrounding the earth before the Flood.9 In a modification of the canopy theory, Dr Larry Vardiman suggested that much of the ‘waters above’ could have been stored in small ice particles distributed in equatorial rings around the earth similar to those around Venus.10
The Genesis 7:11 reference to the windows of heaven being opened has been interpreted as the collapse of such a water vapor canopy, which somehow became unstable and fell as rain. Volcanic eruptions associated with the breaking up of the fountains of the great deep could have thrown dust into the water vapor canopy, causing the water vapor to nucleate on the dust particles and make rain.
Dillow, Vardiman and others have suggested that the vapor canopy caused a greenhouse effect before the Flood with a pleasant subtropical-to-temperate climate all around the globe, even at the poles where today there is ice. This would have caused the growth of lush vegetation on the land all around the globe. The discovery of coal seams in Antarctica containing vegetation that is not now found growing at the poles, but which obviously grew under warmer conditions, was taken as support for these ideas.11
A vapor canopy would also affect the global wind systems. Also, the mountains were almost certainly not as high before the Flood as they are today, as we shall see. In today's world, the major winds and high mountain ranges are a very important part of the water cycle that brings rain to the continents. Before the flood, however, these factors would have caused the weather systems to be different.
Those interested in studying this further should consult Dillow's and Vardiman's works.

The first thing you should do is read the account as presented in the Bible in several passage where it is talked about. It tells us that lands moved, and mountains were pushed up, so Everest may not have been the highest mountain, and may not even have existed then, so that measurment could very well be off. Secondly according to Bible accounts there were no polar areas in those days prior to the flood, and that the excess of water is now frozen in the polar areas, and science does confirm that if those polar areas melted it would in fact flood the whole earth.

i don't understand the place or how that lots water the God Yahweh utilized in Noah's flood have been given right here. What i understand is that because of the fact the sea point rose around the international it could have pushed the ambience up with it holding the oxygen point and air temperature because of the fact the comparable formerly the flood. this could have made it obtainable for Noah, his relatives and the admired species of animals interior the ark to outlive the couple of minutes they spent interior the ark. while the sea point began to bypass bypass into opposite Noah and his relatives and the animals could have had to desert the ark on the suitable of the mountain that it landed on and shop on with the sea point bypass into opposite the mountain, which will in basic terms have been below ten years. The vegetation could have regrown on the uncovered land above sea point as a result resupplying oxygen around the international. there is a lot greater i'm able to write in this situation to assist what i'm asserting yet don't have the time to precise now.

This one's actually not a good one for atheist proselytizers to take on. Of all the Genesis epics, it is thought that the story of Noah is actually one of the likelier candidates for having a base historicity.
Localized floods of the Euphrates and Nile delta were quite common, and the story of a Noah-like figure loading certain animals onto a large boat and surviving a flood that way are almost universal in Middle Eastern lore of the bronze age. The Babylonian tale of Gilgamesh is the most famous bit of flood lore after Genesis, and is one of the oldest poems ever written.
The flood referred to by these ancient writings needn't have flooded the whole world. The fertile crescent was the whole world as far as these ancient people were concerned.

Duh! Have you ever heard of the Firmament? It surrounds the Earth and is where God stores all the water he needed to flood the Earth. The proof is the fact that you can see the Sun and the Moon in the sky at the same time during daylight. Everybody knows that the moon is the back side of the Sun. When you see the moon during the day, you are actually seeing a double reflection of the back side of the Sun (the Moon) which is reflected off the interior surface of the "Firmament" (Where God keeps the water he used for Noah's flood) it is then re-reflected to the opposite interior side of the Firmament where it appears normal in the sky. I hope this explains it for you.

1st of all Noah's flood was only in his World, meaning his neighboorhood, city was flooded. Noah didnt know anything else besides his neighboorhood, city. Imagine U living in LA, and all U know is LA, so when a flood occurs U say my World was flooded(LA). Their were other people besides Noah, and his family, hence different races the "peaceful people".Noah, and his family was the story of the Jew people, in which the Messiah would come from...Who do U think the Gentile's were?..when the Bible mentions them?..they were the other races.
