Please tell him you are not interested. Be considerate, but be honest. Don't have him thinking there's a chance when there isn't. In the long run, although he will be hurt, he will respect you for your honesty. If the tables were turned, wouldn't you want to hear the truth - even if it hurts? Don't waste his time....

Tell him to get lost. I do it with my ex, but I can only do so much since we have a kid together. You can tell your ex to f*ck off, and there are no connections. If you continue to be friendly with him, he'll only think you two will have another chance in the future. It's in essence leading him on, even though he's the one actually bringing it on himself. That's why I can't be friendly with my ex. He takes advantage of it and tries to work his way back into my life, and I really don't want him there. I can most certainly be civil with him, but he gets mad cuz I won't chat with him. He's never happy!
You'll just have to either put your foot down and be mean, even though you may not be the kind of person who wants to, like me, or you'll have to get a new boyfriend so your ex might leave you alone!

Nothing, you can't really do anything. You can talk to him and let him know that he just isn't your type, he has to get the idea and get over it.
My ex is still loving me, but I realize it can't work because we are two totally different people and just are not well together. So we broke up, he still wants to be together but I can't. I started seeing my other ex and well things are going really really good. I wouldn't give him up for anything... again. And the other dude realized this and left me alone.
So you either have to talk to him about your situation or just let it be, but he may not get the idea.

If he was not your type, then why in the first place you went out with him??? You had given the guy a thing that we call as mixed-signals...
Talk to him make it clear that everything is finished. Don't make him suffer more... don't make him think that there is still something there..

Well, tell him the truth. And I don't understand. YOUR EX but not your tip. You're strange.

Do nothing...if you have moved on, keep limited contact with him (if children are involved...NO contact if no children). He'll get the message eventually

If he's not your type, then you need to let him know, discretely that you're not interested in him anymore.

Tell him. Goodness, if you don't like him, you don't like him. It's not your fault or your problem that he likes you.
