I have cheap and expensive non stick pans. Both are great. One thing though is you must heat up the pan first before cooking anything or it WILL stick. For example .... when I cook an omelette, I spray with non stick spray, heat the pan over medium heat, then once it is heated I add the eggs. When frying, I let the oil heat before adding my food. Before I knew about letting the pan heat and letting the oil get hot, all the breading would float off of the food -- then the food would be "naked" and the breading would be burned to a crisp. Hope you can figure out what is happening and can get those non stick pans help make your life and cooking better.

Make sure that your pan is clean and has no little bits of anything stuck on it. THen if you use enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan then the food shouldnt stick. You need to let the food get a "crust" before you try to move it. this too will keep it from sticking. If you are not deep frying, then use a spray made for food like Pam to keep it from sticking.

The pan is too hot when you put the meat in? Get a non-stick pan.

What pan are you using? The meat, I would say to spray it with Pam first. The fish, if you are deep frying it,Use enough oil to immerse the fish. When fish is fried and it is done, it will float to the top of the oil..Hope I helped a little......

Rule of thumb for frying pan....to keep meat from sticking........
heat pan first ..........then put in the oil or butter when that is heated then the meat or fish.

if it's silverstone it might need cleaning.............
cover bottom of pan with vinegar........boil for 15 or 20 SECONDS then wash.

Hint always keep the outside of fry pan clean. It gives you better heat.

Pan has to be smoking hot to sear the meat, as hot as you can get it. This seals the meat and stops it sticking.
