I agree with the DON'T! Dummies should NOT breed dogs, and if you have to read a book like that you definatly SHOULDN't.

Thanks for the rant, but ya know you are fighting a losing battle. Half the people on here think that by doing something like mixing a Beagle with a Poodle they will totally eliminate any genetic health problems, and make a 100% hypoallergenic & non-shedding dog. I am surprised they haven't added 'scoops up & disposes its own waste' yet to their AMAZING list of (imaginary) selling points - LOL!
p.s. Oh, and let's not forget: it will be a 't-cup/teacup' & fit in a purse as an adult, and AKC is going to accept it as a breed ANY DAY NOW! Sheesh. Sorry, I just added my own rant.

LOL!!!!!! Where can I buy copies to give out to all the BYB's that pop up everywhere????
I know it's a losing battle, but once in a while...I sure feel the need to rant and vent.
I keep taking in dogs, working with shelters and rescue, so I see what happens to so many of these precious lives.
Thanks for the laugh! I like this book already!

Well if u want to learn how to breed dogs well that good because everyone has to start somewhere when they are a beginner. maybe u should find some breeders that live in yur area that could help to get started. or maybe they have courses or ask vets. the book probably could help u but u can't just use that.

People shouldn't be breeding animals in the first place - there are too many without homes already!
