Long story short... Im 14, 5'5", and weigh 76 pounds. My parents are giving me 3 days to gain 2 pounds otherwise I either have to go to a hospital or they're forcing food down my throat. PLEASE help me!!!!!!

Potatoes, and breads. Mashed, sweet, garlic roasted, cheese toast, garlic bread, subway subs, And quit it with the anorexia stuff, that's bad for you. What do you feel you dont have control of in your life? You can email me if you want to talk.

Go to the hospital. If you are only 76 pounds there is something going on that needs to be fixed.

You should be about 50 lbs more than that! Your body won't be able to support you properly as you are.

You need to be able to absorb nutrients and get enough so you can grow taller and your brain can be properly nourished.

You might have some kind of metabolic problem, or a parasite, or an ulcer, or cancer.

I'm not a doctor, but I think those are the kind of problems that could put you in such a drastic state.

Definitely see a doctor! It could be life or death!

You are such a young girl and your parents need to make sure you don't have a serious health problem.

Forcing food down your throat is not the solution. Get help from a doctor to fight for your good health! You deserve it!

If I were you, I'd work with a doctor, go straight by the numbers, and let your body do what it needs to.

Meaning, make sure you get in the proper number of calories for your height, BMI appropriate weight (keep the BMI over 18, honey!), and activity level.

Make sure you never go outside a doctor recommended heart rate zone when excercising for only a recommended amount of time.

Eat a balanced diet with a the healthy fats (omega 3, etc), good carbs (should be most of what you eat--fruits, veggies, and grains), and a decent amt of protein.


There are a lot of people in the world who don't have the privileges we do. As people with access to plenty, we have a responsibility to take care of our own bodies. Your body is starving. You have to take care of it!

First of all, shut up hot guy, you dont even understand how little 76 pounds is.

The good news is that it is absolutely possible! Eat lots of carbs (you know bread and sugar) while this isn;t the healthiest option, you should be fine for 3 days (carbs make you hungry)! DO NOT DRINK WATER, drink juice and full fat milk instead. Eat lots of mini meals. ALso, get a drink like slim fast and drink that WITH your meals. Don't worry, even if you dont make your weight goals, it should be good as long as your parents see you are trying. also, eat really heavy foods on the last day. They do not have to be calorie high, just really heavy.

Get your favourite foods, and put them on a BIG plate so that it seems like you are eating less.

pizza, curry, fish and chips, burgers, chocolate, ice cream, just eat from now til 3 days time, you'll easily put 2 pound on

whoa. i have always wanted a girl that is as skinny as you. 90-100 lbs will be ok for you.

but if you insist, then start eating a lot, esp at a buffet
