J.W.H. I read your post and while I agree with your interpretations of their intention, I want to offer some food for thought on where I don't like the direction. Perscription drug research and clinical trials have backing and monetary support....they also charge and arm and a leg to combat the cost of research/trials ....for alternative medicine to validate their claims on functionality of a product there is no monetary equivalence to fund trials, we also would not pay $400 for a monthly supply of vitamin E for example ....etc. So my concern is that it ready in fact does mean taking a limb from alternative medicine as we know it. Right now alternative medicine's best research ability is us that are willing to research, take supplements (etc), and report feedback contributing to the research. I don't know without government and big industry aid, that we can adhere to the requirements the FDA will set forth. If you (or anyone) has further information on how this issue will be handled I would love to be kept informed. D.
