F-250 is a heavier duty truck and that amount of mileage does seem suspect. Doubt if it flipped but it is possible someone altered the mileage. I mean you have to think, it is a 21 year old truck and while Ford makes good quality trucks, that mileage is way too low for a 21 year old vehicle of any type. That is less then 5,000 miles a year or 400 miles a month. I think the price of $900 is pretty good but before I would part with any price I would have a mechanic check it out. I would never pay the asking price for any car or truck. That truck, like any other car or vehicle keeps depreciating in value. I would suggest asking for $700 and settle in the middle at $800

They don't exsist. I went through this with my '77 F350. The DMV actually had my truck for 2 weeks searching for a VIN stamping and never got anywhere. They actually assigned a new VIN plate to my truck.

There's usually one on the top of the rear crossmember. Gotta pull the bed to get to it.
