I'm at my dad's house and started my period. This is not my first, but I am not "equipped" I need to ask my step mom for a pad, but I'm really scared to. I don't know why. She's really nice and all, but I can't get the courage up to do so!! Please help! THX!

Because she isn't your real Mom you are feeling a little anxious, and that is perfectly natural. It is also natural for a woman to menstruate, so she will be quite understanding that you need some feminine products. If you are embarrassed about the situation, just ask her to keep it between the two of you. If she has any integrity at all, she will not tell your Dad.

Hey girl,you r lucky because I know exactly what u need to do.My best friend was in a situation just like this.
U have a choice,if u like your step-mom and she seems like a nice person,don't hold back.If u ask her,I'm more than positive she'll give u a pad.Or u could ask your dad to take u to the store and get some.I hope it works out.=)

Can you give her a note? How about calling your mom and having her stop by with what you need or letting her communicate your needs with your step-mom? The first time you communicate this is the hardest and it WILL get easier.

All you have to say is, do you by chance have some extra pads? I accidently forgot mine. Shes a female and has periods as well, so she'll completely understand.

Just do it. You don't want to bleed all over the bathroom floor, do you? She's pretty much the only person you can ask right now. If she's any kind of stepmom, she'll help you.

Sweet pie, if you haven't done it already, GO! This is a natural thing you dont' have to be ashamed of and you are entitled to be fresh and clean. So go, if you havent gone already. She'll probably ask if you want to go out and get some stuff and hang out for a bit.GOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
