hi there, we had bagpipes for our wedding and after the initial meeting we realised that we would never be able to decide exactly what we wanted him to play, so we just met with him so he could get an idea of us and our personalities and also described the wedding to him and just let him have free range on the day to play what he thought was suitable... sorry thats not much help but i remember when he played a few tunes for us that they sounded so very similar some are a bit more boppier (maybe not the best choice of words) and some are more serene... might be something to consider thought! if your in sydney i can recommend a great guy!!

I agree, hiring a bagpiper would be the best thing to do. It would be tacky to play recorded bagpipe music. The effect is very different, and it would sounded recorded.

Pipers are cheap, and are great for "mood music" as folks are entering and leaving the church. We're pretty too. :-)

Are you really sure you want bagpipe music? Usually for a wedding it should be soft music.
