Well, I am just wondering what I am supposed to do in this situation.

-My teacher is a little too comfortable on sexuality, he compliments a few of the girls in the class, like, in the middle of I test he all of a sudden said to me, "Lookin good Maddi." And, I was terribly embarrased and didn't know how to react, he had done the same thing to other girls too.

-He once said that we had to do an assignment that involved watching the TV, then he said to one of my friends Cody, "That doesn't mean you can watch the playboy channel Cody."

-Then, when we were studying the reproduction of cells, I said sexual reproduction, or binary fission, and he said "Yeah, you like that."

- Also, when we were about to do a project with bolts, he called them "nuts" and said, "Some of the guys in here don't have any."

I have no idea what to do, because he keeps victimizing people and saying compliments that are actrually insulting people.

Help!

Sexual harrassment is ANYTHING that makes you feel uncomfortable. Any unwelcomed touch, comment, ...anything that is unwelcomed! Think about this. You can report your teacher if you really want him to stop.

Maddi-

I think you need to tell your principal about what is going on in your classes and let him what your teacher is doing is not appropriate and that you like it if he can talk to the teacher about these things your saying that your teacher is doing in class. Sometime teachers have off the wall ways of talking and sometimes some of these are used. If he is indeed a little too comfortable with talk on this topic maybe it should be up to you at first to tell your teacher what your opinion is and let them know what they are saying is offensive to you and the other students in the class, if the teacher gets mad it is because they don't understand or because you have caught them on to something they will not admit is a little inappropriate. If this approach does not work go see the principal. That is when you will find out what the true meaning behind this kind of talk is all about, if it turns out you made a mistake don't worry about and move on.

If you (and other girls with you) complain, make sure that you voice to the administration officials that you fear he will retailite against you gradewise for speaking out. Tell them if they refuse to act, you will go public with your complaint at a PTA meeting. Put him on the defensive. You could approach him (again, in a group) and let him know that he has crossed a line here. But, I think it would be more effective if you go to his supervisor or threaten the administration with public exposure of the incidents if the school refuses to act. This guy is a bully. Nothing more. Nothing less. Refuse to be a victim, fight back. That is the only way to put a bully in his place.

yea, i would def. say he is crossing the line with those comments. a teacher should def. not being saying those things. im actually not sure what i would do. it puts you in a tough spot. maybe you should talk to your friends or some people in the class and see what they are thinking, then all of you guys together can say something to him or a higher authority about it so it will stop so that way you wont be on your own. but it is def. unnessecary.

In all honesty- i do no longer think of this is a come-on. i think of she is attempting to make your son think of. You, inspite of the undeniable fact that, are extra effective than welcome as a in contact discern to calmly and without putting blame, ask her the intentions of the remark. She could have not found out the way it would come off to somebody else. If that's the sole evidence of her "harassment" i would not be too speedy to throw the e book at her. you could point out that it would be extra suited to apply the thrid guy or woman whilst giving examples, lest the impressionable toddlers get the incorrect theory. yet I dont think of it had any incorrect intentions.

I hate to say this, because I'm not one to talk, but it does sound kind of inappropriate. If you're uncomfortable, there are probably others who feel the same way. I say talk to him, or if you can't do that, talk to your counselor / principal.

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD REPORT TO YOUR SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR. IF you're uncomfortable doing it in person, write a note and leave it on her desk (the counselor's or principal's). THIS IS DEFINITELY INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR!!!!!
