I wish to find post codes for the UK - how do I do this

You can do it on the post office web site. They have a postcode search system. You have to sign up and you can only do 12 searches a day but its free!

If you know the address type the street name into www.streeetmap.co.uk then look underneath the map and there is a link to "click here to convert coordinates" - this will give you a load of useless info including the postcode.

go to royalmail.com and click on postcode finder you may have to register with them first but this is free to do so if you know the hwole address except for the postcode they'll find it for you-works other way round too if you know the postcode but not the address volia!
