I don't think India qualifies for a working visa for New Zealand.
You basically must have a secured job with someone willing to sponsor you.
Then your employer must prove to the NZ immigration authorities why no other New Zealander or Australian can do your job before a work permit will be given to you.

I got mine within two months, but I'm an Icelander, and had a job in a shortage profession waiting for me. I don't know if it would be any different for Indians.
