I thought you were being racist when you demand that illegal aliens be sent packing, but it's obvious it was for lawful resons.

The Brits have outperformed you by far, by demanding that Muslim women remove their veils or go home. Now I see who's being the most racist.

The Britons' hatred towards Muslims is heavily loaded with racial slurs. Your hatred against Mexicans (or all those you deem to be of Mexican origin) at least has a hint of righteousness

Kreevich says:"
I don't think it's at all racist for the British to expect that immigratns assimilate to their culture"

So should beefeaters lay off their ridiculous outfits? Or should the Teletubbies be forced to remove their antennae and hat? I just don't get it.

they ask people to remove crosses at BA but it is racist to ask a teacher to remove her veil, sounds kind of two faced to me.

The "race card" has been played so much lately that it's value is diminished.

It is not racism for people of the same race (*****, Oriental, Cacusasian) to not like each other. It is the pushiness of the Muslim that (imho) that offends most Brits and Americans.

It is not enough that they want to live out their religion (as we all do) it is that they want to force other faiths (and nonfaiths) to observe the tenets of their faith. For example, the non-
Quranic requirement that women completely cover themselves.

And the law requires that photo identification documents require that the subject show their face. Now which should prevail?

If the law becomes secondary to a non-Quranic requirement (not all muslims believe that a woman is required to be covered head to toe) then the purpose of a photo id is completely lost.

So what do you do with a group that moves to a country and then tried to over turn the country's established laws.

If a salesman came to your home and you let them in and then they started rearranging your furniture and telling you what you could or could not watch on television, what would be your reaction? The same as the Brits, Spanish, Americans, etc., you would tell them to leave if they don't like it. The same goes for immigrants.

They knew the way the country was before they came. Now they claim discrimination when the country won't change for them. It doesn't matter whether it is a religious basis (Muslims) or nationality (Mexicans or Moroccans).

It is especially true with Muslims, good people try to learn about Islam to help their new neighbors. Islam is a scary religion. It is full of "whip them," "cut off their hands," and "stone them to death" for what Western cultures now see as minor offenses.

It is a religion that has been and will continually be corrupted by men for personal agendas. Look at the Islamic suicide bombers. The Japanese kamikee suicide pilots were killing their enemies to protect their country.

Islamic suicide bombers are killing Muslims who are their own countrymen merely because of political differences. How are they better than the KKK or the Nazis?

I know that all muslims are not suicide bombers, but if they are true muslims they must believe in the stonings, mayhem, and whippings or else it would be like claiming to be a Christian, but not believing in Christ.

The Beefeaters are wearing uniforms and are veterans. The Teletubbies really should lose their antennas. As for the "racism," the Muslims you speak of as well as Mexicans, are White. Therefore, there could be bigotry, but not racism. And I think the Brits have a great idea in insisting the Muslim women remove their burkas or go home. It IS a security issue.

I may still forgive you, but I doubt you want my forgiveness any longer.

Most American's aren't racist against Mexican's, we just want the ILLEGAL mexicans out of our land. A lot of us do hate the illegals, but we don't hate those who come here, having used the proper prcedure's mexican or not. We welcome them legal immigrants in hopes that they will want to be productive, and be a PART of us, leaving their old country behind to begin a new life as American's. Many of us also detest those who come here legally, but remain loyal to their former country, above USA, when they wave their former country's flag, and curse USA. Why did they come here, if they will not join us, and love their new country? That makes them a traitor.
I know a few Briton's, and they have their reasons for disliking Muslims, but the ones I know are more angry at their government, Tony Blair to be exact, for letting them in to over-crowd, and get special interests where a natural born English person can't, that's what they tell me, anyway.
The point is, American's DON"T hate anyone who comes here LEGALLY, loves us, loves being here, and is productive, and trying to better themselves by speaking our language, English, having a job, and claiming that, "NOW, I am an American, America is my country, MY home! I will never betray her! " (That's not much for American citizen's to ask, is it?)

a hint of righteousness ??? We just want our laws to be enforced and respected. We have nothing aginst hispanics, we just don't want Mexicans walking into our country thinking they can do what ever they want to .

The odd part is, I have known hispanics that did not like to be refered to as Mexicans for the simple fact their families have been a part of America for several generations, and that hate illegals coming up here from Mexico too.

Oh please. We have a high black population in America, and the blacks can't stand Mexicans Either!
Are they racist? hmm?

They lower the quality of life for all and congest our already strained healthcare and educational systems.
Especially feeling the strain are our already poor populations.
People are just scraping to get by in America and with outsourcing,
the immigration problem only worsens everything for our country.
They would bring down the quality of life for all, including themselves, eventually.

But at least we know they are not being a parasite off of a welfare state, like in your country.

My heart bleeds for you. Is there any reason why there is an anti-Muslim backlash in some places? Could it have anything to do with people strapping explosive belts on themselves and walking into crowded plance and detonating themselves? Could it have anything to do with fanatics flying airliners into buildings? Could it have anything to do with the fact that these 9/11 terrorists weren't named Pablo, Sven, Trevor, Jacques or Giuseppi? Where's the Muslim outrage over the actions of this lunatic wing of their religion? Why aren't the "moderate" Muslims speaking out? Give me a break.

Why forgive you. What about the six idiot Muslims who stood up to pray on a plane getting ready to take of from Minneapolis, Minnesota? They were led off the plane in hand cuffs, are going to sue for discrimination. You all are so full of camel dung. WE all have to remain seated, you don't see Rabbi's or Priest's stand up as a plane is taking off. Get your dung together, stop being jerks.

I don't think it's at all racist for the British to expect that immigratns assimilate to their culture. If they want to persist in their own, they should stay in their old countries. Plus ther are security reasons to discourage them from hiding their faces.

I say send the Muslims home anyway, regardless of attire. Yes it's racist, but who cares? Not always a bad thing.
