The keyword for becoming a Saudi resident is: SPONSOR!

All foreign nationals exept GCC nationals taking employment or residence in Saudi Arabia must have a sponsor.

You have to look for a employment first. check out:

Your working hours and salary depent on your job. Your salary is taxfree. Livestyle in Saudi is different from USA, but not bad at all!
Some Westernes have the best time of their life over there.

Omg..... well before you leave your precious American rights... i want to warn you about all the bad things that happen to people in Saudia Arabia that aren't naturals. You work for long hourse for little pay and bad working conditions and have none of the rights that the natural citizens have.... But either way, it's not up to me to decide what you want , If you really want to become a saudi resident you must first contact your local U.S embassy and they will make arrangments and help you become a saudi resident. good luck xD

** o and, yeah, there is no right to privacy, the saudi government can enter your car, home, etc... without a court order.
Movie theaters and nightclubs are prohibited, but theaters are allowed on the Aramco compounds albeit any films shown are censored and available long after they have been released in America or Western Europe. Westerners often prefer to use the theatre for the exhibition of local musicians, plays, and artists. It is unlikely that the production of plays is subject to any official censorship board as many of the comedy plays often make jokes about American politicians and even include characters that cross-dressed.

To become a resident, you need a sponsor (kafeel), which shows you work under him. You're not allowed to stay in Saudi Arabia if you don't have a sponsor. Your sponsor can be a relative too.

10 years.. and even then, you have to take some sort of nationalization test of some sort..

note: contrary to what others have said.. You do not have to give up your American citizenship.. Of course, Saudi doesnt recognize dual citizenship, but the Americans do.. So you can have both..

why would you want to do that? Unless you have a ton of money your considered the "poor class" and classified as a TCN (third country national) meaning you will do all of the slave labor for little to no money.
