I know getting my 10mm kidney stone will hurt if it becomes dislodged from the upj of my ureter but the only way i can get treatment (as I have no insurance) is to get this puppy to move and become lodged so that it is deemed an emergency. I have been dealing w/ this for a month. It's out of the kidney but i need to get it to move down my ureter. I need suggestions on ways to get the process going.

Being a veteran of around 10 kidney stones, the only suggestion I have is to drink alot of fluids, mostly clear fluids. 10mm is a very large stone and may not pass through the uretha tube. Go to a urologist and have him do some more x-rays. Perhaps the whirlpool bath is what you need. The vibrations will break up the stone and make them more readily passable. It is a surgical procedeure that I had to go through once.

The ureter has a diameter of about 3 millimetres. Hence 10 cm kidney stone cannot pass through the ureter.
