I am looking to co-sign on a vehicle. Can we use just the signers credit and my finances to buy a vehicle?

It deprnds on the dealership, And the credit rating of the signer.

A crooked dealership will take part in fraud.

When the Purchaser signs the application for credit they are agreeing that all the information is true and accurate.

If the dealer is aware that the information is inaccurate that is fraud. If you are aware that the information is in accurate that is fraud. As we all know fraud is BAD

So technically the answer is yes.
Legally the answer is No.

if your credit and finances are needed to buy the vehicle why do you need the signer? or do you mean you need a co-signer -

You both need to be on the title, and both your credit profiles will be considered in making the finance decision. How you work out the payment details amongst yourselves is up to you.
