just because you can do it doesn't mean you should. Just for the record you are not legally able to partake in sexual activities with people over 18 in some states at that age. People in porno movies are supposed to be over 18 and allowing someone to witness the sexual act even on video is a crime in some states.

ah well, the law is very strange like that. You can get married at 16 but you can't actually by a drink to celebrate it. You can have sex yourself but you can't watch anybody else doing it on film. I think the best explaination is that the legal system is just cobbled together by a bunch of folk who don't really considering the consequences of what they are doing. Once one generation have made a monumental mess of it it's really hard to later generations to sort it out so we just kind of manage. After all it's only for those 2 years it's an issue. And the people affected can't vote anyway so they can't easily get the law changed, by the time they can, they don't care anymore.

What does legality have to do with it? It's more of a question of morality. At 16 you only have your hormones to gauge by. You are just too young to know all that is involved with having sexual relations. Sure it feels good, but that will be about all it means to you. No, it is not legal for you to purchase sex toys at your age, you should be thinking about college applications and SAT"s!

Because even thou u think u know it all at 16/18 u don't. No offence i did, im 21 now and have finally realised that i've alot to learn.
The law is there to protect u, take things slow and always be safe. I wish i had ( i hope i don't sound patronising i don't mean to be).

Law is Law. You cannot modify the law to suit your preferences.
If a boy(18yrs) has sex with the consent of a 16 yrs old girl even then it will be considered as rape because the age of consent is 18 yrs.It is illegal to purchase porn under 18 because the law has provisions for it.Anyway purchasing porn at any age is illegal.

it all depends on how mature you are! some people i know at the age of 25 are just as immature as someone at 16 and arent ashamed of it. The law is the law though!

It's a law because you are still considered children. Kind of strange, because sex-ed is taught at a younger age nowadays. Basically, youth is expected to be aware and informed, but highly encouraged to not participate.

16 year olds should be in school, not watching pornos. If they are sexually active, they should be spending their money on condoms, not pornos...
