It's not up to me to decide what his worldview is, but what he said about Christian theology is correct. I don't think it causes him to have to be a Christian, especially since the video is well edited and is not complete - it is simply a trailer for a longer video...

I would agree it intentionally tries to cast this person in a "closet Christian" kind of light. There's no telling what went on after this point, before this point, or during the little edited-out parts.

I could also say all the same things he said just by knowing Christian theology and doctrine. I've heard a few atheists say that they have more respect for theists that have the courage of their convictions than theists that are wishy washy. The wishy washy ones might be less scary, but who really respects their attempts to please everyone by sacrificing their backbone?

The only thing that pisses me off here is the use of my favorite Beethoven Sonata as background music for this propaganda.

I must say I am rather shocked and speechless. I have to digest this....................

.......ok, I have digested it somewhat. That guy is brilliant! I like him. He is an honest atheist or at least appears to be. He reminds me of maybe what a pre-Christian C.S.Lewis would have been like. Here is someone who does not rely on insult or emotion but has really thought through the issues. As a Christian, it is really valuable lesson to me how easily we can be duped; thinking that what sounds genuine to the mind is being confirmed as genuine by the Holy Spirit. In this case he obviously isn't genuine (a genuine Christian I mean) and I was completely fooled. Let this be a lesson to all Christians not to be taken in by good speakers! Pray about it and be led by the Spirit in all things even if there are large crowds following and it appears to be of God on the surface.

Your question is not aligned with the video...
He says he is an atheist at the end... he is well informed and well spoken about Christianity - does that make you think he has to be a Christian? It doesn't.
I would like to know the rest of his story...but if he says he is an atheist I will not call him a liar or a set-up.
This reminds me of minister's kids who go through a period of questioning, he has not made his own decision yet. He almost seems reluctant to say he is an atheist as well. He 's a smart kid who's searching.
The missing element is faith of his heart.

Where in the wide world did you ever get that from.LOLOL Real, practising christians would chew glass before they would "pretend to be Atheists" - and for what purpose?

this guy knows a lot about Christian ideals, "if I was a Christian I'd do this or that" anybody can be an armchair quarterback

much of what he said is true, but anybody can babble on about what someone else should do

Ummmmm....did you actually see the video?? The point was that he is an atheist. A very well-educated, thoughtful, atheist.

Oh, that more of my brethren knew (and believed!) the things that he said.

One problem. The Jesus he has in his head....needs to be in his heart.

A. I don't watch strange links. How about some details.

B. I've seen your questions before, and most (if not all) have a hate for Christianity. Why should I believe anything you say or show about Christians?
