i want a car cd player for my grandad so it must be easy to use. any ideas of where to get one from?

Avoid Sony - their buttons are too small and fiddly, even the "on" and "off" aren't obvious.
Try something by Phillips or Blaupunkt.

However, the easiest to use would probably be a Ford unit - if he has a Ford try to get one from a higher-spec version of the same model - nice big buttons, very simple to use.

Iv on no account heard of a song report in mp4 format. All of my mp4 records are video clips. if that's available to have song in an mp4 format, then that's rather uncommon. song is often the two in mp3 format or in wma format with mp3 being the main ordinary.

most of them you just push the cd in and it starts playing. why not go to halfords and play with the ones they have to find a simple one. probably the cheaper models have less functions and are easier to use!!
