Yes, my wife died of liver cancer 2 years ago, It is the most painful way to die too. The blisters are common, so is edema in the feet hands, and back. The liver becomes really swollen, and Doctors call that asides fluid, and you start to bleed internally, and become incontinent.

I wish you and your family the very best of luck.

Cancer is still the dreaded disease that it was 30years ago even though treatments and early detection rates have improved significantly.

Yes, liver cancer is a very serious disease and it appears that your aunt has now developed an associated condition called ascites, which is an accumulation of fluid in the abdominal cavity.
Such a development could be used for prognostic purposes. However the build up of fluid might be due to some other medical condition. Urge your aunt's closer family to arrange a meeting with her consultant so you can get a more accurate picture.

These are worrying and upsetting times and she now needs your family's strength and support.
Best of luck.

My father died 5 years ago of liver cancer and had similar affects as your Aunt. All you can do now is be there and let her know how important she is to you. Make sure you have a friend that will talk and listen to you. Please don't try to go through it on your own. I am truly sorry for you and your family. My thoughts are with you all.

Yes my friend, your liver processes toxins so if it's diseased it stops working in this way and the toxins come out in other ways, such a skin blisters.
I am really soory to hear your sad news, I hope you get to spend as much time with her as you can. Special people always live on with us, you will never completely loose her.

Yes I am so sorry. She hasn't much time left with liver cancer. I would suggest that all her family come and say goodbye now and not leave it too much longer. She will be very uncomfortable and her doctor has probably put her on heroin for pain relief. Family should see her before she goes into a coma.

My dad died with liver cancer in 1999, and I never seen any blister on him, and even though he had liver cancer his stomach didnt swell that much, we was told about the cancer in July on the 3rd and he died Aug 16,1999, we knew it was time when he couldnt swallow anymore he would choke on even ice. And I will pray for your aunt and you, and your family cause its very hard to watch them suffer and you cant do anything about it, I felt like I was letting him die,,but Ive grown to know ifff its your time for the lord to take you home its just your time,,it will happen to all of us,,just try to make her comfortable, and beleive me,,,you will know when it gets time.
