My bf smokes grass and drink alcohol at the same time every week end and at parties with friends as well. I broke up with him (Thanksgiving day) because I hate when he's fvcked up, acting like a stupid morone which is totally opposite when he's normal. Did I make the right choice? Or is it ok if your partner smokes grass even if you don't?

You made the absolute right choice, good for you! Now for your next relationship, do a little more background checking and find someone who fits YOUR mold for a perfect partner!

Good for you! It isn't the smoking of "grass" or even drinking on a weekend or screwing up Thanksgiving - and embarrasing you. The guy is an alcoholic and drug addict, sorry to say, and you are/were looking at your future: picking up a stupid moron several times a week while the kids peek around the corner from their room late at night. Tough Love is mandated but watch out because without a terrific rehab program, he is going to be a "good boy" until he figures he has you again. Hang in there.

You made the right decision! At this point he seemed more like a problem than a boyfriend and thats not what you need. Was this the kind of person you wanted to stay with when you could have someone who loved and cared about you? Things will get better don't worry!

Smoking pot and drinking every night is a dead end. You made the right choice.

I understand where your coming from I have been there. My little girls dad was like that. He wasn't so bad at first and I mind you don't smoke pot never have cared for it at all. But I tolerated it for him cause I loved him. But it got worse and worse and like you I hated seeing him like that. I loved the sober guy not the messed up guy! we broke up and I tried it again later but he was still the same and you know nine years later he is STILL the same. I support you in your decision!! If he loves you he change.

If you are not happy and u r not then that was the best move breaking up. no matter what he says about wanting u back he will not change overnight. You need to find someone more in tune with you and what you like. Life is too short to waste it on unhappiness.

Yes you did. Maybe he will see that him using is affecting others and he will seek help. Maybe if you didn't he would get into something worse. Maybe sooner or later he would have convinced you to do it. No matter what you made the right choice.

Yes, of course, you made the right choice. You become who you hang with. Unless that is what you want to become, find someone else. He won't miss you, anyway, he has his real lovers with him, pot and boose.

Smoking occassionally is ok, but if he's doing it every night, he has a problem. I think you were right to break up with him.

if he does it every day, he's got a problem and doesn't want to face reality. What is he 'running away' from?

Smoking once in awhile is ok, but every flippin' day? it's only going to get worse and he's gonna want more and more
