Peal Coconuts, even the brownish layer, lining the white coconut should be pealed. Then grind the white inside part to a fine paste.
While you make a thick sugar syrup, add this paste and keep stirring till till the "halwa" starts leaving sides of the vessel. Continuous stirring is very important. A baked smell also helps us to understand that the paste is ready.
Spread it out on a platter. and cut when it is still warm.
You may add cardamom.Also almond paste, also Khova (thick milk) as options.

reduce milk to thick saucy consitency. add sugar, green cardamom powder and coconut powder. mix well. this will form a dough. in a greased tray, flatten it with the help of rolling pin while it is still hot, cut into desired size and cool. if the dough doesnt hold together, add sugar syrup.

mix shredded coconut (or coconut powder) with condensed milk till u make dough.flatten it in tray,and cut in diamond shaped or square pieces.Before serving u can sprinkle some coconut flakes.I always make coconut ladoos this way they r delicious and my family really enjoy it.I hope u will once try it and enjoy it.Good luck
