dont worry about it because as long as she is not beating you up don't worry about it and ignore the other people

Start defending yourself if she makes it embarrassing for you. At least someone does it. Don't allow people to step all over you.

you have to develop a thick skin. learn to stick up for yourself by trying. your girlfriend helping only makes it worse because people will think you're a easy target for ridicule.
