Well, I'm Wiccan, which is a type of Pagan. When people tell me they are Pagan, I feel a bit more comfortable about talking to them about that aspect of my life. It still doesn't mean that our personalities will mesh anyway, but it's nice to know.
When someone tells me they are an Atheist, I become wary. Some Atheists are very friendly, openminded people who can at least appreciate Wicca in an anthropological, philosophical sense. Then there are other Atheists that are quick to judge me simply because they do not believe in anything beyond what science can prove. It upsets me because with the amount of judgemental Christians out there, they should really be nicer to people who dont judge them.

Most of my friends are atheist and pagan, so I am used to that. And christians usually stand out like a sore thumb so it would be unusual to not know from the get go that a person is a christian.
I just try to treat everyone with the same respect that i would like from them, and as long as a person isn't attempting to convert me I can get along with them just fine.

I try not to, but if they badmouth my religion and then demand that I treat theirs with respect (which I always do) because I'm Christian and they aren't, then I walk away and stay away from them. And I mean, really badmouth. Not, "Oh, I'm pagan" and think that's badmouthing. More of a "Well, you Catholics are the reasons why the world is so messed up. You're horrible people" kind of badmouthing. I don't want to be around people like that.

Yes they do. I live in the deep south and people pity me, they feel bad for me, they tell me they will pray for me, and they ask how I live with out the light of the lord. They wonder how anybody can stand a life outside the grace of god. If they don't pity me they wonder how I could be so stupid as to not blindly believe a book that has been proven junk time after time after time. I have found that down here people love to be judgmental. It is the highlight of their life to be able to judge others and to look down on others who do not agree with what they believe. I think that is why most of them are religious, because they want to be superior to others.

I'm likely to feel more at ease around atheists or Pagans. I'm always worried about how traditional religious people will take me (I'm wiccan). But luckily, here in the UK, religion hardly gets talked about so no-one really knows if your talking to a religious person or not!

I look at everyone differently as each person is their own. It's important to me that I get to be who I am as long as those around me also get to be who they are, without anyone stepping over other people's boundaries. I, myself, am agnostic, but I have much respect for those with beliefs different than mine, and just because they're different doesn't mean they're wrong. The key to life is keeping an open mind.

Yes...I'm Christian & because of the behaviours of other Christians towards Atheists & Pagans, I tend to be much more tender and/or understanding, so that they'll know that not all Christians are against them or judging them.

Yes. Having biases is part of the human condition. If someone tells you theyre dying of cancer, you cant help it, you look at them differently.
Likewise with religion. When an atheist sees a believer, he cringes or has some other negative response. When a believer sees an unbeliever, we try to look at it as an opportunity to witness and win someone to Heaven.

No, I don't look at them differently. Although I am always pleased to find other people I can share my (pagan) religion with.
