If it is really important to you, let future hubby know that it would be like a secret love note that each of you always has with you. If he objects to the extra cost, he may have a point if the two of you are already stretching to pay for everything else. Listen to his concerns before deciding. Whatever you do, don't make it into a fight. Engraving can be done at any time. A one year anniversary could be an excellent time for such sentiment.

probably one of three things: 1) the intiials of you or a loved one, 2) the jewlers initials or 3)the dimond or jewel placers initials it is probably a sign of a good quality ring:)
