my drivers liscence expires today 11/24/06, i payed and renewed it on 10/14/06. i havent received a new one, or any confirmation that it has been renewed. in this situation, can i still drive even though it expired.

You can drive even if you are holding onto an expired license and already paid for the new one. I'd just contact the DMV about the incident. IF you are pulled over let the cop know it is your expired license and you are waiting for the new one to be mailed to you. When he runs your license it will show that the license is renewed.
Make sure the check or whatever was cashed by the DMV. If not you may want to boogie over to the DMV and get that taken care of.

u should be alright if you have proper documentation of having paid the money due however a month and half is too long to have to wait for your new license. usually they have those turned around in no more than 10 days so call the DMV and ind out where your DL is or if there is a problem you are unaware of.

do you have the reciept for the payment of the renewal if so then go back to where you renewed it and ask there for more help if they can not help you then ask for the manager; (superviser) nicley do not make a seen or get ryeled...

Then start al over and ask your Q: there if all fales go to a lawyer ect.... the right is on your side stay colm be nice but strong to your point...
